Description
The 12" version is actually two songs - "Smooth Operator" and "Red Eye" - that run together for almost 9 minutes of soulful, smooth jazz bliss. This rip was taken from the U.S. promo single, but the long version was released commercially as well.
My specs:
Recorded using a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable, AT 618a disc stabilizer and an AT VM540ML cart. All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 with Adobe Audition CC used for recording and processing with clicks removed manually.
