We are delighted to release the video of The Prayer of Longevity for Kyabje Dungse Garab Rinpoche, sung with reverence and honor by Khandro Rinchen Paldon. As we watch the video, may we be reminded of a living Buddha who continue to do so much tirelessly just for the sake of sentient beings like us. May we remember Rinpoche’s kindness, compassion and guidance towards more than 500 monks and nuns across 13 monasteries, and towards more than 20,000 Throema practitioners. May we remember the arduous and treacherous roads Rinpoche has to take to take Buddha Dharma to the remotest of villages. May we be reminded of the times Rinpoche has to spend away from Yangsi and Semola.
And as we sing along to the hymn, may our collective prayers for Rinpoche’s long life, good health and strength be answered. May Rinpoche continue spreading Buddha Dharma for sentient beings like us.

(At the sacred land of Bhagajang, on the First Day of the Eleventh Lunar Month, Vajravārāhī appeared in [my] lucid dream, and when I inquired, “Are there some kind of obstacles standing against the life and enlightened activities of my sublime friend Garab Rinpoche?” She replied singing this long-life prayer and instructed: “Oh Son, if [you] persistently perform this prayer, [his longevity and activity] will increase like the moon on the Third Day does!” Just as she said this and disappeared in the sphere of invisibility, I also woke up from my sleep, and I, Trulku Khalong Repa, transcribed the verses.)
