"Peace, O Peace" is my original gospel prayer song, written as a prayer for peace on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (15 August).
In these troubled times, we lift our hearts to God, asking for peace across the world through the loving intercession of Mother Mary, Queen of Peace.
📖 Scripture Inspiration:
Philippians 4:7 – "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
🙏 About this song:
I wrote this prayer during my retreat in 2024, in Hiroshima retreat house. Hiroshima a city marked by the scars of war, as a heartfelt plea for unity, healing, and an end to violence.
May this song inspire hope and faith, and bring comfort to all who listen.
