Video originally shot July 2016... but not PROPERLY uploaded until now. I say "properly" because I originally intended to upload it back in July as well, but some damn stupid computer crash thwarted my plans entirely (and, likewise, my productivity for the ENTIRE summer!), and since then I've become paranoid about leaving my main PC unattended while uploading large, high-bitrate videos like this. Aaugh!!! Now I'm trying to upload this from my laptop...

Anyway, from the same LP that brought you the jaunty party number "Jump in the Line" comes this oldie that Gen Y-ers may probably be more familiar with as having been parodied in the very first episode of the wild, irreverent cartoon show Animaniacs (a personal favourite of mine). Definitely a very nice use of material - that's precisely what got me out on the hunt for a copy of this album to place alongside my other Belafonte records, and it took me a while, but I've finally found it.

Moreover, what I have here is the MONO mix of the vinyl, and I believe nobody on YouTube has ever uploaded the mono version of this particular song, so I thought it would also be interesting for comparison purposes. (The mix is definitely different, because some of the instruments/parts are more upfront than others.) As always, the audio has been given the all-analogue BBE treatment, so there is a lot of extra punch here that you won't find on the other versions you may find on YouTube.
