Calleva Assistant Conductor Enyi Okpara conducts Paul Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Based on a poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's 1797 named "Der Zauberlehrling", the piece became even more popular when it was included in Disney's Fantasia. In the now iconic scene, Mickey Mouse is, the eponymous sorcerer's apprentice, gives life to his broom in the hopes of avoiding chores.
