Description
Hey guys, i hope you've enjoyed Christmas with your family and friends. Here is another version of the standards "These foolish things" i recorded years ago on another guitar : a Epiphone Deluxe 1946. It was composed in 1936 by Holt Marvell, with lyrics by Jack Strachey.
I’m playing a 1944 Levin model 22. The guitar was built in Sweden and features a 17,5 inches wide lower bout, with solid black walnut back and sides, single diagonal brace. I suppose specs wise its pretty close to an L7 or an L12 on the Levin catalogue (if we consider the Deluxe being a Super 400, and a Soloist being an L5).
The guitar is strung with D’Addario Nickel strings round wound gauge 12, I’m playing a Dunlop gator pick .71mm and the sound is captured by both a Neumann TLM103 and a bluebird microphone.
